Deddington Village Nursery & PFSU

Staffing

Staffing ratios are in accordance with the provisions of the Children’s Act 1989 and are vetted and approved by Oxfordshire County Council Social Services.

All the children will be assigned a Key Person and observations will be made on the child.  A profile will be compiled, covering all the areas of the curriculum. 

Sarah Inkpen: Early Years Manager
Susanne Stanley: Deputy Nursery Manager
Rachel O'Connell: Deputy PFSU Manager
Gina Halliburton: Financial Administrator

Plus 8 further full and part time dedicated members of staff who work across both settings. 

Management of the Settings

Deddington Partnership Foundation Stage Unit is a registered charity and is the parent company of Deddington Village Nursery, which is also a registered charity.  Both settings are overseen by a voluntary committee, made up of current and former parents and carers.

The Committee is responsible for overseeing the employment of staff and the maintenance of finances and to oversee the general organisation of the PFSU in accordance with the National Standards for Under Eights Day Care as set by the Office For Standards in Education.
